Pupilage (“the Service”), operated by SamKis Labs (“we”, “us”), is an exam-prep platform offering adaptive practice, an AI study tutor, and mock exams for Caribbean, WAEC, and ACCA qualifications. Information we collect

Account data — your name, email address, and the region and exam tracks you select when you register.
Study & progress data — the questions you attempt, mock-exam results, mastery and readiness scores, study streaks, and messages you send to the AI tutor.
Billing data — your subscription tier and status. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.
Technical & log data — basic request metadata (such as approximate country, used to show the right regional experience and pricing) and standard server logs.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and secure the Service, personalise your practice and readiness insights, generate the AI tutoring you request, process your subscription, send you transactional email (such as sign-in and password resets), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your study content for advertising.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and study data.
Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
Resend — delivery of transactional email.
Anthropic — AI processing. When you use the AI tutor or other AI features, the text you submit is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a response.

Children & students

Pupilage is built for exam candidates, and some students may be under 18. Accounts for under-18 users are expected to be created and consented to by a parent, teacher, or school, who is responsible for that consent. If you are under 18, please use Pupilage only with that permission.

Data retention

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us, and we will delete it except where we are required to keep certain records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
